When My father saved me
When
I was eighth years old. My family went to Kundur because we always holiday to
my aunts’ family. my aunt was sister of my mother. She and her husband had been
a big house. They had been two child, the old son was Dion and the young son
was Pandi. Dion was fifth years old and Pandi was fourth years old. At the
time, when we had arrived to my aunts’ house , they had waited us. I went to
third floor and choosed my bedroom. Why I choosed it ? because I could see beautiful
view. Not only that, I could listen the sound of swallow on the fourth floor.
They had prepared nest of swallow, its size
was big and tall.
Afther
that, I arrounded the large house and I could see their garden behind of their
house, I wanted to go there because there was many durian, rambutan, and
pineapple. Suddenly, my aunt came to me and said “ Didn’t go alone there”. I
confused and asked “why?”. Then, she explained that the garden was dangerous.
when she said that , I scared but she explained again the garden was dangerous
not because a ghost but there was a deep
pool. Not only that, there was some scorpion so when we wanted to go there ,we
must used a shoes, and jacket. The garden rarely treated, and then I didn’t go
there because I scared.
When
I left it , I saw my uncle was giving eat his rooster. His rooster was very
much, I joined to give eat his rooster and cleaned it. After that, I went to in
front of his house, I saw the gutter , that was unique because very long and
deep like amazon but not large. The location was across the street, usually
used to wash the clothes and swim. At the afternoon, my father went to the
gutter. He invited me to swim there. When arrived there, I could not swim
because the gutter was deep so I didn’t do everything. I only saw and stood up
there.
At
the time, I felt my body was hot and dry. I wanted to swim but the gutter was
deep. And then, I saw my father jumped to the gutter like a swimmer. I
disappointed because I only stood up there. When my father swam far away from
me, I jumped to the gutter and my father didn’t see me. When my body entered to
the gutter, I could not out from it. I could not swim, I drank much water, I
tried to get out but I failed. My body felt enter more deep of the gutter. I
didn’t know how long I had been under the water, My body felt weak like a patient.
I
remembered that my father was swimming in the gutter, I tried to call him but
the water still entered to my mouth. At the time, my body stopped. My mouth had
been fulfilled the water like a glass had been filled. My eyes began to close .
Suddenly, I felt my body moved from it, there was something brought me go out
of water. When my body had been out of
water, I saw my father that saved me. He tried to get water in my stomach, I
could say anything and my father brought me to hospital. After that, I felt my
body was fine but I must more to take a
rest.
I could not guess
what happened to me but I still
remembered what I felt when I almost died. But , I was very give thank to God
and my father. My father had been saving me from the die. If I didn’t save
maybe I could not feel my life so far and I could not meet you all here. One
again, I never again went to Kundur, to my aunts’ house because I was scare to
see the gutter until now.
